From Battle Buddies to Business Partners

When I left the military, I thought the hard part was over.

Little did I know that civilian life would present a whole new set of obstacles. 🚧

Suddenly, I was expected to adapt to a completely different way of life, without the structure and support that the military provided. Finding a job was tough, and I struggled to fit in with my civilian colleagues. On top of that, past traumas kept resurfacing, making it difficult to move forward. 😥

But then, something amazing happened. I saw a post on Instagram from my old battle buddy, Megan. She had started making granola using bananas from her own banana patch in Hawaii, and it looked delicious. On a whim, I commented, "Interested in labels?" And just like that, we were back in touch. 🙌

👯‍♀️ Together, we started Elevated Oats, a company that makes delicious and healthy granola using only the best ingredients. But it's more than just a business for us. It's a way to help others who are struggling with the same challenges that we faced. Our mission is to elevate your life, just like we did ours.

🤝 We value mental health, getting outside in nature, raising each other up, and to always be learning and growing. These are all things that helped us overcome the obstacles we faced during our transition to civilian life, and we want to share them with others.

Starting a business wasn't easy. 😅 We had to learn everything from scratch, from creating recipes to designing labels.

But we were determined to make it work, and it is!

Today, Elevated Oats is thriving, and we're proud to say that we've helped others find a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. 🤗
